Chateau de Pierrefonds...

After a rather interesting and informative visit to the tourist office yesterday, we decided on a wee road trip to see the chateau de la  Pierrefonds.  Pierrefonds is a town about 20 minutes drive from where we are staying but it is obviously famous for its middle ages castle that dominates the view as you come over the hill into the town.  Of late, it's been made even more famous so by the filming of Merlin which was done here.


After we got back, the kids had a pre-booked pizza party with kids club.  Basically an extended kids club but in the evening and with added party games.  I suspect it’s offers up the chance for parents to go out and do something without the kids.
