Broad-leaved helleborine

Rather an arty, whimsical shot today of the beautiful Broad-leaved helleborine  Epipactis  helleborine, which I am rather pleased with as these orchids grow in woodland in dark places difficult to photograph without using horrible harsh flashlight. I did have to use the pop up flash to take this shot, but turned right down, and with a diffuser across the front.
I find the Broad-leaved helleborine the most common of the helleborines around my area, and this one was in my very local Nature reserve. Sadly, I remember when I first started taking photographs in 2008 there were at least 30 flower spikes in the nature reserve, today I found just 6!
