Exhausted

After climbing to the summit of Mt Paku in strong wind with my daughter and family, we  were all very happy to lie down in a sheltered, sunny spot just steps below the summit and enjoy the mid winter sun.
Had a lovely day in Tairua. The grandsons prepared Pizza for lunch and after our hike we all enjoyed an icecream back in the village and then a cuppa back at the house.
I have to admit it was strange to look out from Emma's deck up towards our old house to see strange cars in the driveway and know that a new family was now installed in "what was till last month, our  beach house.
