On The Road To Whistler

Today we left Kelowna and drove to Whistler which took us about 7 hours with stops. It was absolutely boiling hot and we were very glad of the air conditioning in the car.

On the way we spotted a gorgeous beach (top pictures) and went for a swim in the lake surrounded by amazing scenery.

We saw some magnificent views on the journey and the snowy mountains around Whistler are fabulous. Tomorrow we're going up the Peak To Peak cable car and hope to be walking in some snow. A strange thought when the temperature's been high 30s today!
