spring cactus...

...bloomin' in pink

and will bloom almost year 'round...

i'd never heard of a spring cactus... it's very similar to a christmas cactus - but the flowers are a bit different... it's known as an easter cactus - who knew? it originated in the jungles of brazil... go figure... very easy to care for - needs some light - give it some water a few times a week - spritz it with water... i was told it should bloom practically all year for me...

well - we'll see about that... for now - it has the most delicate pinky blossoms... hanging all about - with spectacular springy thingy insides that i'll have some fun playing around with - in terms of photographing... and i may do some artsy stuff with it as well - who knows - the sky's the limit - which always makes for...
