On the precipice

Today the walking group went to Dolgellau in Snowdonia to do the Precipice walk. It's not a long walk but has beautiful views and is a walk that I've intended to do for years but never got round to.

There are beautiful views of Cader Idris and other mountains, also of the River Mawddach and it's estuary . It was grey and misty with drizzle all the way round but occasionally the sun peeped through for a second before disappearing again. We were lucky because as we ended the walk there were very heavy showers.

The blip is of the group looking at the view in the mist and the extra is a taste of the scenery.

We then had a wander around Dolgellau and a coffee before heading home. Though I love mist for atmosphere and photography but will do the walk again when the weather is clearer so that I see the scenery that I missed!
