trials

i found this picture of my parents on their wedding day, how sweet :')

netball trials for the District Helensburgh Woman's Netball Club were harder than i thought, we trained for 3 hours flat, no break.

the warm-up was horrid, 20 minutes of endurance running with drills combined into it, just after our own little warmup of jogging and crossovers and sidesteps, highknees and buttkicks etc etc..

then dynamic stretches, ball drills, and a private session informing us of some of the drills they practise during normal training nights.

then onto matchplay, where i played about 5 games of just 10 minutes each, playing WD, GD and Center twice, because it's my position naturally

i think i played pretty well to be fair, especially towards the end for some reason, but i played harder than ever, absolutely desperate to be scouted for this new team!

they were all adults too, so it was so much harder than usual, hence why i'm now so tired, as i had to work double as hard to impress them!

the challenge is amazing, and the people are just so, so nice!

i await the news after next monday's second set of trials :)
