Eucalyptus melliodora - Yellow Box Gum

Another very common native of Australia. This eucalyptus has very small (2.5cm) creamy white flowers usually in clusters of seven, very profuse and honey scented. It is regarded as an indicator of reasonably fertile, potential cropping land. It is common in our area which is mainly horticultural with excellent fine sandy loam soil. Excellent also for high quality honey production.  The bees love it! My extra gives a better idea of how the flowers cluster on the branches.
