other side

8:30pm and looking down the other end of an SM58.

Spending some time with the young folk of KCC and others working on some tunes for a Sunday evening thing in a few weeks.

Not long after this we came up with an interesting arrangement of a song that takes a different approach to the original. I even played piano (fairly badly) for a bit.

It's been a fun day, some playtime with the weeWeir after Mrs theWeir came home from nightshift. Then some drums at KCC before lunch and then a trip to the swimming pool and softplay.

Wasted some time trying to fix a bulb in MiniMo only to discover that I was using the wrong type. Muppet.

Putting yourself in the other person's shoes. It's obvious, it's cheesy, it's predictable. But how often does it help? Most of the time. How often do I do it? Not anywhere near enough.

Let mercy triumph over judgement.
