A Dane in Norway

By LarsS

Unfriendly skies

Low clouds and heavy rain all through until midday, made for a very difficult survey of an Iron Age burial site (area between the red and white house just off the the right). Found six of an original number of 14. The rest is lost due to erosion and human activities in the area since it was recorded in 1842. Back in the same area tomorrow to have a closer look at another mound.

Picture is taken at Bokn, two tunnels and a ferry trip north of Stavanger.
