Full House

It was a goldfinch breakfast convention on the feeder right outside the kitchen window this morning.  That sparrow is relegated to the basement.    We got a nice row in before some wind came up and as I was coming back up to the cabin, the baby twin deer were nosing about the entry to the steps up (that’s the flotsam entrance we’ve collected) so it was hard to decide on the blip. I liked this angle.  So it’s the extra.

A LONG lunch with friend from the island and his visiting relatives (yes I made it  :-)  Salade Nicoise and excellent cold zucchini soup) and there went the day pretty much…. social......Much cooler and delightful.

Report about those swallows under the ramp -blip of 2 days ago.  : the whole nest is gone!  Yesterday in the strong winds, I watched as a few swallows did dip under the ramp but with difficulty flying into the south wind...the nest was falling apart, but I think the birds were ready to fly. There were 2 on the ramp this morning..
