Homework!

My late blip for yesterday!

The F/freezer arrived on Monday at last!   Two guys brought it and fitted it in, but of course, the doors are never the correct way, so I asked them to change them round.

The 'fitter' had left his tools at home, so the driver went and brought his in.   He had less than Al and that's saying something.    After some head scratching and mumbling, I asked them not to bother as it would be fine.   We could still open the doors OK.

However, move on a day to yesterday, and I decided they had better be moved, so Pete came round.   It took him 2 hours and said it was the worst he had ever changed.    Glad I hadn't let the other guys do it.   All's well now.

On Friday we are going out (six of us) for a belated New Year celebration!!   At NY you may remember one of our party was quite ill and others not just quite the thing so we all ended up staying home.   Well Friday we are going for a meal and we went to El Tiberon to look at the menu.   Having decided it was not up to much for a nice meal, we called at La Barbera for a drink and look at the menu.   We have decided to try there.   (Had good tapa).

The photo is taken from the terrace of the Restaurant so at least we will have a good outlook.

Later we called at La Almadraba for a drink, and my extra photo is of our Tapas, a small Salmonete dipped in flour and deep fried with salad and olives.   Delish...

Here in Andalucia, bars provide a menu for tapas and there is a choice, which for the most part is included in the cost of wine or beer.   Some bars charge extra but most not.    If you go to a Restaurant for just a drink, they will often ask if you want meat or fish tapa and just do whatever is cooking.

It may seem that all we do is eat and drink, and of course, you would not be far wrong!
