Growing old disgracefully

CLINGING ON

It's been weeks since the Prof and I have had a date day.  We made up for it today with a walk by Loch Katrine, a lunch at the Boathouse and the spotting of an osprey carrying a huge fish.    I don't mind the rain - without it we would not have this lush natural rock garden, clinging on to an impossible slope.

I had a fun planning meeting with a lovely colleague late afternoon and madly harvested the raspberries between showers. Later still, I sat outside in balmy sunlight stripping blackcurrants off stalks. 15 lbs in the freezer and no more space.  Jam today or jam tomorrow.
