Female Mallard

Went to visit a relative in a nursing home this afternoon and on the way back called at the garden centre to see if the black swan was still around.  Couldn't see him anywhere, in fact all the ducks and geese seemed to be sunning themselves on the grass ( see extra photo, which also shows the miniature railway, which runs around the large pool). Took several shots of them, but liked this one of a female mallard because it shows off the blue stripe on her back.
