Porty People and Nearby Places

When the rain drove us off the beach this morning we reverted to Plan C for the afternoon -  A trip to Deep Sea ("C")  World at North Queensferry.

I had not been there for over 20 years and was surprised at how it has kept pace with the times and still provides a very informative and entertaining visit for all ages on a rainy Scottish summer afternoon.

Fyfe was enthralled by it all including  the moving floor that enable him to make three circuits of the shark tunnels without making a single step!

Torran was equally enthralled by the womb-like sensations of being swirled around the tunnels in the wake of the whoosings of delight from his older sibling!

Ironically as everyone is tucked up in bed, after another action packed day  the sun comes out for a clear cool sunset. 

The owners of the Green Coffee Van on the promenade were doing a whimpering trade this morning bemoaning the inaccuracy of the weather apps resulting in their over purchase of sandwiches and pastries. Looked like the gulls were going to be in luck later today.
