The Landscape - Wide Angle Weds.

When my daughter was a freshman in college she took a class in environmental studies.  The  professor asked each of the students to compare the landscape of the campus to the view they saw through their bedroom window.  She was fascinated by the responses.  The Campus is in a beautiful valley completely surrounded by mountains that were in her mind quite  distant.  She described a feeling of openness and spaciousness.  Her friend from Texas felt very closed in and her  NYC friend had a   different impression entirely.
