Do not disturb

After not having been able to get out in the fresh air much these past few days I had a wonderful evening stroll around Ellesmere. Started by following the canal and finishing at the Mere. It has been a beautiful evening and the light has been gorgeous.
The swan was all tucked up for the night, completely oblivious to anything around it and I just loved the colours that the evening light brought out in the feathers.
One of the extra photos is a very strange set of plant pots seen on the top of a narrow boat on the canal.

For those in the Shrewsbury area there is a brilliant photography Exhibition coming up from the 3rd August until end of September and being held in the Shrewbury Coffee House, see extra pic for details.

The Go Explore Exhibition is of the incredible work of local photographer Stewart Mackellar and is going to be well worth a visit. Stewart was the inspiration behind me getting involved in photography, for which I am eternally grateful. He is featured on my website under Photographers Who Inspire if you want a sneak preview of his work.

And if someone can inspire a middle aged couch potato to go out and climb mountains, you know he's got to be good!
