Charlie's Jam

A lovely day today with old friends, Ann and Charlie , who came for lunch.  This was meant to be an outdoor event but after 10 mins the wind was too much and we retreated indoors.  

Ann and I first met many years ago through our baby sitting circle, our children went to primary school together and we parents shared the fun of being on the PTA and the infamous discos!  They moved to Scotland and Yorkshire before coming down south again to live 20 mins from us. Strange how some friendships last while others fade away.

During this time it appears Charlie has become a jam maker and today brought us some of his latest delights.  He is my new hero and Jack is promising to look up some jam recipes as I showered praise on Charlie!
