Fennel Tart

My sister, who is staying with me at the moment, told me that I could win a year's supply of fennel if I made, and then sent a photo of, the fennel tart that was Monday's recipe in the 'Dinner Tonight' column in The Times. I beavered away, came up with this, sent it off and became quite prematurely excited at the prospect of a year's supply of fennel only to be told that she was only joking. I love fennel so you can imagine my disappointment. The tart was pretty good though.
