A conundrum

One of the tasks we've been undertaking today has been sorting through the children's and grandchildren's "old" toys. We came across today's blip. Complete with Steiff label and button and also pull cord for the music (which still works). We've searched the Steiff site and Googled extensively and have not been able to locate such a toy. I've been driven to emailing Steiff (with pictures) to see if it is genuine. Anyone got any info?
