Wide Angle Wednesday: Landscape

I went back to the sunflower fields today for my landscape shot, only to find that they had all turned brown and were facing the ground.  I quickly had to rethink my plans for this challenge, knowing that I had a limited amount of time.  Just down the road, is Riley’s Lock (Lock 24) where the Seneca Creek runs into the Potomac River.  The red brick structure is the remains of an aqueduct, that carried the canal and barges over the creek. Now it is nothing more than a biking and hiking trail.  I used the 12 mm fisheye lens for this.

As you can see, it is a very beautiful summer day.
