auntie lou's

Auntie Lou had us over for an apéritif this evening. We'd had a busy day so it was lovely to arrive over to great food and good chat :)

The food, as always, was bloody gorgeous. We had an avocado and prawn salad, apricots baked with Gorgonzola and pistachios, melon, caramel cherry tomatoes, a bulgur wheat, cherry and feta salad, lots of different tasty tarts(!), and great wine.

We were hoping for some rain and there were storms all around us but not a drop fell!
