Training the piranha!

Echo, the foal, is a bit of a handful, to say the least. He's about three months old but totally full of attitude! I'm not sure who's idea it was, but it has been decided that he and his mum Carrie should be shown ' in hand ' ( ie not ridden ) at a show next month.

The problem is that Echo's not terribly impressed about being on the lead rope. He has been known to be quite damaging with his front feet, which he seems to find difficult to keep on the floor. Last week he punched Richard in the kidney whilst being taken out to the field with his mum.

Anyway, today he did quite well once he'd settled down, although he did try to jump on his mum a few times!

I didn't have time to grab my camera, so took this with my phone, hence the terrible quality.

Oh, and he's known as the piranha as he bites all the time!!
