peas, particularly

I can't remember if this was new when it entered my service in 1994 or if it was an existing parent-house-pan, but today its time came to leave my care and enter retirement in the wingpiglet's nursery's garden, where the regular shedding of flakes of the worn-out non-stick treatment will be of less annoyance. I thank it for the countless tins of peas it heated, packets of mince it browned and single-person servings of pasta it bore simmering within it.
