The Holy Island of Lindisfarne - England

This was the only place we planned in advance to visit...
I got the desire to go there after a Blip I saw on here  a few months ago.... It is very worthy of a visit and it was only a 2 hours journey (one of them it was spent to cross Edinburgh)

So the tide gave us a frame to visit the island from 11 AM to 7PM... we arrived at 10.30 and around 3 PM we were both already wore out....so hoots to home again, before everybody starts to leave the island (it was packed with tourists) . This time to get into the traffic mess.... rush hour in Edinburgh....

We got good weather (as you can see by the pictures) but the light was far to hard to get good pictures. 

Anyway with a bit of patience and some wait, I managed to get a good view of the castle without the packs of tourists going up and down....
