Now, as I see it......

Early morning walk

Well, this is a first for me. It's just gone 8am (6am UK time) and I've been out for a walk, uploaded pictures onto Flickr, and done my Blip. We decided to get up shortly after 6am and head out for a walk before the heat of the day got going. Being careful not to wake up the people in the next room who didn't come in until after 2am (to be fair, they were very quiet; I just happened to be awake), we headed up out of the village into the first bit of sparse woodland, cut along the top until we reached the first steps down into a higher bit of village, then back along the lanes to where we are staying. Only about an hour's walk, but it was lovely to be out first thing, hearing the cockerels crowing, donkeys braying and sheep making, well, whatever you call a sheep noise.

A lazyish day planned; tonight we will have (for us) a fairly late night as we are going to an evening of Blues and Jazz played by a few of the British ex-pats in a local bar.
