Below Sealevel

As you might know we Dutch are famous for windmills and dykes.

We have to be, because the largest part of our country is below sea level so the dykes protect us keeping the water out and the windmills to pump it out if it floods or we want to gain extra land.

Over the past centuries we had some mayor floods - the last one in 1953 - and complete villages disappeared under water.

That inspired me to create this entry of scuba divers surrounding the Haarlem St Bavo Church below the water surface. Thank God it's only an artist impression :-)))
