Harlech

Wet and windy today. Hubby had a day off so we were determined to go out anyway. Headed for Criccieth and Cadwaladers where we couldn't resist cake! Anyone who reads my blog knows that I am completely addicted to Cadwaladers, the rhubarb and cherry cake particularly!
Followed that with a trip to Harlech Beach. It was still raining but only lightly, so we had a really nice stroll.
There were some beautiful boats in the harbour, and the one blipped which maybe wasn't quite as seaworthy as some of the others!
The extra photo is of some sort of drain perhaps filled in with concrete. They were very interesting but we have no idea what they were used for and why they have been filled. Anyone any ideas?
Finished off by a quick visit to Betws-y-coed and more coffee! Great if slightly damp day.
