York Station.

The first railway station in York was a temporary building inside the city walls, and  opened in 1839.     Since then, the building has moved outside the city walls, grown and expanded, and is now a major railway hub and a graded listed building.   How many joyful hellos and tearful farewells has it seen since it opened?
Many thanks to all lovely blippers who dropped by and left comments, stars and hearts for  yesterday’s upload
