Hibiscus, or Squirrel... That is the question

This being Flower Friday, but also Squirrel Blip Friday, I am once again torn. In the end I'm going with this Hibiscus bud for the main blip, with a young squirrel as the extra. Our climate isn't suitable for this particular type of hibiscus, though we do have some "hardy hibiscus" in the garden, with enormous dinner plate sized blossoms. This one is a plant that spends the winter indoors, and then gets dragged outside every summer for a vacation. Generally when it pops out a bloom I totally miss it. Odds are I'll forget to go look at it and miss this one when it opens up. Tomorrow? It only lasts a day, so missing it is very easy.
