So calm

The Firth was very calm this morning, very smooth and the sun glistened off the surface. As we were going down the hill I noticed a boat with red sails so we went along the road to Avoch hoping to get a photo of it. We did pass it but it turned round and headed the other way. We went down to see if there were any terns on the rafts, lots being noisy and flying around. Just as we got there the heavens opened and it rained heavily for the rest of the time we were there.
On the way back we saw lots of yachts sailing to the Point so a quick trip up there and just managed a few photos before the rain caught up with us. Lovely colourful sails on some and all sizes. The skiff was also having a run out and it's surprising how they can keep up with the Yachts.
We went out again later to see them return , this time in the sunshine : )
