Scalloway fae Cunningsburgh

It's been a fine day.  Some sunshine in the morning and then clouded over for a while but been a lovely sunny evening.

A steady day in the museum today.  The afternoon was busier than the morning as we had a new photo exhibition opening from the Islesburgh Photo Club.
After tea, me and Sammy headed west over the Cunningsburgh hills for a hike to look for an old settlement, Spencies Toon.  I've located the township and an easier route, will head back another day for a look :)
Feet up for the evening for a while :)

A few miles hike up and down hills, over rough terrain and finally you get to the west coast of Cunningsburgh.  The hills are high and the makes it all the better for the views.  You can look south, right down to Fitful Head, SW and you see the abandoned isle South Havra, west is East Burra, NW and you see West Burra and then look north up the Clift Soond and there's Scalloway and Trondra on the left.
