I think this was a hoverfly inspecting my daisy-like plants I bought from the Park sale a couple of weeks ago.  I'm not sure what they are called, but they stay closed when it's dull and look a bit weedy-like, but the flowers are quite beautiful and quite showy-offy when they bravely open up in the sun.
