Raindrops

A few more days like this and we will all be complaining about the rain! After weeks of drought in the South-East we are experiencing steady life giving rain. Part of the charm of Lady's Mantle, Alchemilla Mollis, is the way the raindrops collect on the leaves.
This evening we are gathering at the home of one of Normous' oldest friends, for a dinner with a group of people we have known since our teens. Normous meets "the boys" fairly frequently, but sometimes the wives are invited to join them. Lots of memories will be chewed over. At our age the old memories come more readily than what happened yesterday!
