Mum?

The little chick was quite happily preening and watching the world go by until its parents noticed me taking photos from what they obviously reckoned was too close.

The screams of the parents alarmed the chick, too, so I decided not to disturb it any further and left although I would have wanted to go a bit closer still for a couple of more photos.
