Hraunsvatn lake

Today we did an unforgettable hike. First we drove along a geocaching trail dedicated to one of the most famous Icelandic ghost stories The Dean of Myrká, then we climbed up to a lake called Hraunsvatn. It was a very scenic hike. We had a lunch by the lake below the snowy peaks and on our way back I attempted to photograph various species of Icelandic arctic flora. We also tried to find a cache we couldn't find two days ago. This time, in much better weather we didn't give up, got through the thick forest with no trail and found it!
