Smart new kettle...

Last week my kettle started disintegrating...bits of plastic coming adrift. Last week my daughter's kettle started to leak, so she went and brought 2 new ones. One for her and one for me. Mine is green(as is part of my kitchen), and has the most beautiful bright blue light when it is turned on!!! I remember years ago my dad had a stainless steel jug- it outlasted him. Funny how one does the whole circle- back to a stainless steel and enamel kettle, never liked plastic ones anyway..Hopefully it will last a few years.
