Biker Funeral

Today we saw off the regional chairman of the Royal British Legion Riders Branch Bristol area.
We rendezvoused at a pub near in Winterbourne and then rode, about 25 bikes, to the house where we were joined by a few more. We waited for the hearse, motorcycle/sidecar hearse, and the family put Poppy wreaths on the coffin. The Poppies because of the RBL Poppy Appeal which goes on all year round, not just in November.

I was at the front, flying my 'Lest We Forget' flag and the view in my rear view mirror was just incredible. about 29 bikes following me, all with headlights and spotlights on. We had to travel about 12 miles from the house to the crematorium at Westerleigh.

Stayed dry all day other than a little bit of drizzle when we arrived at the house, lovely ride back to Gloucester again even if half of it was Motorway. Joined the M5 at Jct 14,  just 1 mile South of Michaelwood Services if anyone knows it.
