Duma and Mehitabel

today I blipped the "kids" Duma and Mehitabel. They are brother and sister. They are family. They came from an artist's farm and were hand raised by nine year old girls. It was a good beginning. Now they are almost seven. Time sure does fly.

Today Arvin had some oral surgery. We spent most of the day quietly so he could rest. Already he seems to be healing. Really he is so healthy for his age with the exception of the Alzheimer's. And I've read that 50 percent of people his age have it. I guess I might as well be philosophical. There is always something that will move us on. For him it seems to be this. Meanwhile he is doing really well physically.
