Our rather tatty lady blackbird out gathering food for the young on the nest.  So typical where the devoted mother winds up looking the worse for wear when raising the young, even when the male is still in attendance.  Occasionally you see a male looking the same way, but I suspect only when mum has gone missing.
 
Hopefully she will get a moult  before the weather gets too wet and cold.

The W's are off for a short break so we may be a bit behind with blips and commenting over the next few days.
