A view

The hill in the picture is called Criffel and it can be seen for miles around and is, for me anyway, a real landmark.  My great, great grandmother lived in a house which looked directly on to Criffel although not from this spot, it was across the water and several miles away.  I have been trying for years to identify the house, in fact if it even still exists, and I have narrowed it down to a particular hamlet but I am still searching for the specific place.
