After the rain

Our ladies'competition took place today - the course has been closed for a week due to the heavy rains. Parts of many fairways were waterlogged, and some of  the bunkers were like swimming pools.  This is a view as we came up the 18th fairway...pleased that the game was over and we could have a hot shower and a well deserved  glass of wine!
It was a lovely sunny day, in spite of a chilly wind at times, and so good to be out in the open.
