Day at a Time

Judges' Dais

This is where some of the judges will sit tomorrow when the competition proper starts. At home they often need shelter from the wind and rain; here it's shade from the fierce sun and 30 degree+ temperatures. Fortunately today's action was in the indoor arena which was slightly cooler. But not much.

Great controversy when it was discovered late last night that Lyn's horse had been matched with three riders rather than the maximum of two. She had to get up at 05:30 to get over to the equestrian centre to be matched again. So it was bye-bye Frosty and hello Dakota today. In fact it was bye-bye Frosty for good as he misbehaved and had to be withdrawn from the competition. So it all worked out in the end. We hope.
