Graffiti Street

The weather today was rather cloudy, breezy and cool in Ghent but at least it stayed dry.

After breakfast, we visited the tourist office to buy a 3 day city card that allows you to visit certain attractions, travel on transport, boat rides, bike hire etc. Once we had got our card we then visited the Castle of the Courts, parts of it built in the 9th century. Followed by a walk around town, including a visit to Graffiti Street. A long alleyway where artists are allowed to do their artwork and which is constantly changing. Our walk was interspersed with refreshment/waffle stops. A return to our hotel for a couple of hours to chill and freshen up before going back out for dinner.

Extras are another piece of graffiti art and view of the cathedral and belfry from the castle. (I can only seem to upload no more than 2).. . . I have just managed to add 3!!!! But I had to keep editing to add them!
