Legends.

As part of a weekend away with my dear daughter, we took ourselves to the circus. 

Ringmaster was none other than Norman Barrett, a legend of the genre and we were pleased to meet him afterwards. In showbiz since 1949 (aged 13) and a ringmaster for 57 years, he rather defines what it is to give your whole life to something. Quite how, at nearly eighty, he does the travelling and the packing-up-and-moving-on lifestyle is beyond me, but his budgies were still going strong too.
