Salisbury Cathedral

Has been a difficult choice today. Went to Salisbury Cathedral this morning, and there were so many photos to choose from afterwards! I've gone with this one, as I think it's a great way of bringing the old and new together.

This is an art installation in one of the Cathedral doorways, called Enlightenment and was done by Squid Soup. The lights constantly change colour, and you can go in to it. Which of course I did!

The rest of the Cathedral was stunning and is well worth a visit. Glad I went, although it took six hours instead of three to get home, thanks to Operation Stack. Took the back roads - and so had many others!
