The Fleece Inn

The Fleece Inn in the village of Bretforton in the Vale of Evesham is owned by the National Trust.   It is famous for the annual Asparagus ('Gras) auction held there each year.

In 2004 it was almost destroyed by a fire when the thatched roof caught fire.  It has been rebuilt and is now a great destination.

We were there tonight as I was singing at the pub with our Madrigal group Musyck Anon.

Our performance earned us a free pint which was nice
