Silly Point

Having taught the girls the rudiments of cricket, Grandad is now demonstrating how it should be done. Except that even I know he was a better bowler than batter. And why the key fielder is sitting down (although cricket is such a leisurely game in my opinion), and why the other fielder has the bails (see I do know a few technical terms) and why there is a football in the game . . . I have no idea!!

And Grandad was choosing to do this instead of sitting inside watching ‘the cricket’ – such dedication!
