Tracks..

in the corn.  I loved the effect of the tyre tracks actually being full grown green/unripe corn!  Daughter no 2 and I had a lovely afternoon out sketching the landscape.. the colours were completely stunning and ever changing with the cloud shadows.. fun fun.

The electricity meter was updated this morning we were told to expect a workman to come between 7am and 1 pm so we were up and ready.  He turned up at 8.30 so that was good but then told us we were his first job of the day!!  He was amazed!! Thought 8 am was the earliest appointment.... he certainly didn't ever intend arriving at 7!! (slight grr!) At least it was over early and we could get on with the day
