Galatea, waiting at Hellifield

The engine hisses lazily in the noonday sun.   A summer stillness has come over the world.   Willowherb flowers scarcely move in the languid heat as bees drone drowsily from bloom to bloom.    Even the engine driver clasps his hands as he leans out of his cab window, resting his eyelids and quietly dreaming of whatever it is that steam engine drivers dream of.    This is Galatea, waiting at Hellifield.

Many thanks to all lovely blippers who dropped by and left comments, stars and hearts for  yesterday’s upload
